Design & Sales

Brad McCumber:  Sales Manager,  Design Consultant

A life-long Minnesotan and veteran business owner, Brad brings to DreamMaker over twenty years of experience in home remodeling, sales management, and overall construction knowledge.  We appreciate his wisdom, his leadership skills, and his dedication to creating and maintaining the best team possible.  He anchors his team with his patient, easy-going nature, and he makes sure everyone takes time to “have fun in the process.”

 

Brad balances his work life by taking weekend excursions with his wife of 26 years (a “gypsy” with an abundance of wanderlust) and his two daughters (both students at the College of St. Thomas).  He is also a certified college coach and enjoys motorcycling and snowmobiling.

Ryan Herzog:  MHA, Design Consultant

The son of a builder and an interior designer, Ryan was born to remodel.  Armed with a BFA in design from MCAD, he began his remodeling career in 1995 and has mastered the positions of lead carpenter, project manager, project coordinator, designer and salesperson.  Seeking a positive, stable company to represent, he chose to work at DreamMaker.  “The collaborative effort that takes place behind the scenes here is my favorite aspect of this company.  We help each other to make the experience as fantastic for the client as possible.”  We value his energy and enthusiasm and his personal investment in each and every project.

 

Ryan lives in Carver County with his wife and three children.  He enjoys fair weather camping, loud music, good art, great movies and spicy food, and dares to dream of motorcycling, water skiing, snowmobiling, skydiving, rock climbing, and scuba diving.

Cathy Bowlby earned her BA in accounting from the University of St. Thomas, and DreamMaker benefits from her many years of experience in accounting and customer service for construction based businesses.  A supreme organizer, Cathy loves to be busy—it’s that Midwestern work ethic—and she deftly orchestrates the flow of office work through our systems.  We depend on her multifaceted support and her down-to-earth perspective, and enjoy her ever-present sense of humor evident in the laughter often heard above the hum of the busy office workday.

 

Outside the office, Cathy enjoys sports—both playing and watching (go Twins!), fishing in Canada, reading, playing video games, scrapbooking and caring for her many dogs.

 

Suzanne Henne joined the DreamMaker team after 10 years of working in many capacities in her family’s floor covering business, so she understands the value of offering support wherever and whenever it is needed.  Every day she focuses on doing her part in exceeding our clients’ expectations.  From reception and data entry to marketing projects and sales support, her work is accurate, timely and dependable.  Bubbly and outgoing, she has a smile for everyone. 

 

Suzanne keeps busy fishing, riding the motorcycle and vacationing in Florida.  She enjoys techie toys, especially her new iphone, and keeping up with new fashion trends.

 

Brad Krueger:  Production Manager

Brad has consistently demonstrated a high degree of technical capability and a drive to bring projects in on time and within budget.  Brads installation and carpentry experience, along with his attention to detail and aptitude for customer service are evident in the successful management of the production of each job. Brad’s leadership and personal touch is often acknowledged by our clients.

 

The Production Team is assisted by the craftsmanship of our talented carpenters, John Shima IV, and Michael Myers. Along with the long-term relationships with our subcontractors, our production team will create a stunning project for your home.

The DreamMaker team is focused on giving you a world class remodeling experience.  Each member of our team is committed to appreciating your needs in every situation.  We strive to create and produce both a fabulous space along with an incredible experience. 

Kari Burnham:  AKBD, Designer

A graduate of Century College, Kari brings to DreamMaker a wealth of product knowledge, creative energy and design experience.  Both her clients and her teammates admire and appreciate her inspirations that result in the creation of something new and fresh, as well as her focused attention to detail.  Analytical and thorough, she enjoys researching options that optimize the functional aspects of her projects while giving a polished, upscale look regardless of budget.  She is the consummate professional designer, listening to her clients’ needs to deliver personalized designs and service tailored to each project; her clients respond with accolades and referrals.

 

Kari likes to relax in the sun, often boating with her family on Lake Minnetonka.  She also likes shopping, reading, cooking, hockey and lacrosse.  She and her husband live with their three kids, two dogs, two cats, and two lizards.

Kristin Gabriel:  AKBD, Designer

Kristin’s interest in architecture, design and space planning started at a young age.  She would spend many childhood hours creating floor plans out of Lego’s and even furnished the homes with Lego furniture (and this was before all the fancy pieces).  She’s always loved “reading” floor plans and makes time in the spring and fall to go on the home tours, gathering ideas and seeing what’s new.  It is no surprise then that she ended up a Century College design graduate.  She brings to DreamMaker experience in design and client service where her talent and professionalism are evident in every project.  She delights her clients with unique solutions that are highly functional while at the same time reflect their individual lifestyle and personality.  We value her energy, her upbeat outlook and her determination to create solutions that completely satisfy the client.

 

Kristin enjoys spending time going skiing, going on vacations, and just hanging out with her husband and two sons.  To relax she plays piano, reads, and watches “chic” flicks (usually without her “three boys”).  The role model who continues to inspire her is Frank Lloyd Wright because he wasn’t afraid to think outside the box.
